  • 27% of adult Americans had at least 1 massage in the last 12 months, ending in June 22, as compared to 23% in June 0f 21, 21% in June 20.
  • 45% of adult Americans reported that they have had a professional massage in their lifetime.
  • 45% of 18-34 year-olds report receiving a massage for Health and Wellbeing as compared to 52% aged 45-54 and 53% aged 55-64.
  • 94% agreed that "Massage Therapy can be effective in reducing pain".
  • 95% agreed that "Massage Therapy can be beneficial to your health and wellness".
  • 86% agreed that "Massage Therapy should be considered a form of health care".
  • 71% said they would recommend Massage Therapy to a relative or someone they knew in 2022
